Yes / No Tarot

Yes/No Tarot draws a single card from the 22 Major Arcana to give you a clear Yes, No or Maybe on any one question — instantly, with no birth details required. Every card carries a traditional leaning: bright, forward-moving cards like The Sun and The Star lean Yes, cards of pause and endings like The Hermit and Death lean No, and ambiguous cards like The High Priestess answer Maybe. If the card falls reversed, its meaning can soften or flip, so you always see the full upright and reversed interpretation alongside the verdict. Treat the answer as a moment of reflection and light entertainment — a fresh angle on your question, not a fixed prediction.

How the single-card reading works

Hold your question in mind — ideally something specific that can be answered yes or no — and draw. The tool shuffles the full Major Arcana and turns over one card, upright or reversed at random, exactly as a physical one-card pull would.

The verdict comes from the card's built-in leaning. Affirming, active cards return Yes; cards of delay, withdrawal or loss return No; and cards of uncertainty return Maybe. A reversed card can turn a Yes into a No and vice-versa, while a Maybe stays a Maybe — so the card's orientation matters as much as the card itself.

Reading the card, not just the verdict

  • Yes cards: bright, active Arcana such as The Sun, The Star, The Chariot and The World — momentum is with you.
  • No cards: The Hermit, The Hanged Man, Death, The Tower and The Devil point to pause, release or a not-yet.
  • Maybe cards: The High Priestess, Justice and Temperance ask you to gather more information or wait for balance.
  • Upright vs reversed: the upright meaning reads straight, while reversed softens, blocks or reverses it — read both before you settle on the answer.

How to get a Yes/No answer

  1. Think of your question: Settle on one clear question that can be answered Yes or No, and hold it in mind.
  2. Draw your card: Tap to shuffle the Major Arcana and turn over a single card, upright or reversed.
  3. Read the verdict and meaning: See the Yes, No or Maybe answer along with the card's upright or reversed interpretation for context.

Frequently asked questions

How does Yes/No Tarot decide the answer?

Each Major Arcana card carries a traditional Yes, No or Maybe leaning. The tool draws one card at random and returns that leaning; if the card comes up reversed, a Yes can flip to No or vice-versa, while Maybe cards stay Maybe. You also see the card's full upright and reversed meaning to interpret alongside the verdict.

Do I need my birth date or time?

No. This is an instant single-card draw with no birth data required — just think of your question and pull a card. It is separate from the horoscope and kundli tools that use your birth details.

How should I phrase my question?

Keep it to one clear, specific question that can be answered yes or no, and focus on it as you draw. Yes/No Tarot is best used for reflection and entertainment — a way to view a situation from a fresh angle rather than a firm prediction of the future.
