The Hora is the simplest of the sixteen vargas: each sign is halved at 15 degrees, and each half belongs either to the Sun, represented by Leo, or to the Moon, represented by Cancer. Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra ch. 6 assigns the D2 to wealth and finances, and because it has only two destinations it is a chart read differently from the others.
In the Parashari scheme every planet in the D2 lands in one of exactly two signs. An odd sign gives its first half to the Sun and its second to the Moon; an even sign reverses that. The Sun's hora is rendered as Leo, the Moon's as Cancer, so a full D2 chart shows all nine grahas distributed between two houses.
That is why the D2 is not drawn or read like a twelve-sign chart. There is no meaningful house pattern to inspect. What the chart reports is a count: how many grahas fall in the solar half and how many in the lunar, and which of them a particular planet joins.
The two-sign Hora is the BPHS scheme and the default here, but the classical and modern literature preserves alternatives that spread the D2 across all twelve signs, precisely because two destinations carry so little information. The Kashinatha Hora distributes the halves through the sign lord's day and night signs, and the Parivritti Dwaya scheme cycles twenty-four horas twice around the zodiac.

The classical assignment is the subject of the chart, wealth and finances, and that is the whole of what the texts settle here. AstroZivi names the subject and shows the distribution; it does not convert a solar or lunar hora into a statement about your income, because no reading it can cite makes that step.
A wealth analysis in the classical method reads the 2nd and 11th houses of the birth chart, their lords, the dhana yogas and the running dasha, with the D2 as one supporting layer. That combination is what the full kundli produces; this page produces the layer.
